Make plowing your driveways, paths, and parking lots a simple process with the Home Plow by Meyer. This rugged SUV and truck snow plow mounts in just seconds and is fully controlled from inside your warm cabin. With this handy plow you'll clear your drive and be on your way in minutes.

The Meyer Home Plow features Quick-Link mounting hardware that slides into a 2", Class III front receiver hitch. Its integrated mounting wheels let you slide the plow right into place without tools, and there's no extra hardware to leave behind. All models require a 2" front hitch, so be sure to select the hitch option if your vehicle does not yet have one installed.

Choose from three different models: the HomePlow Basic is an electrically operated plow. It features a 6'8" auto-angling blade. The Pre-Assembled HomePlow features an electric motor for up-down blade movement via a wireless remote. Both styles include a passive mechanical design that automatically tilts the plow blade in whichever direction the snow is heaviest.

If you want complete commercial-grade hydraulic control, go with the Full-Powered HomePlow. This plow's hydraulic control adjusts the blade up, down, left, and right with the push of a button. The Power Angle model also comes in either 6'8" or 7'6" lengths.

With rugged 14-gauge steel construction, Dura Slick powder-coat paint, and a sealed hydraulic operating system, the Home Plow by Meyer is ready to take on winter's worst. This plow requires a distance of no more than 13" and no less than 10" between your reciever hitch and the ground - for trucks that are too tall or short, the Drop/Rise Adapters can be used for a perfect fit. Plus, your Meyer Home Plow is backed with a 1-Year Warranty.

Meyer 24000 fits:

  • 2008-2012 Buick Enclave
  • 2003-2008 Buick Rainier
  • 2000-2020 Cadillac Escalade
  • 2002-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche
  • 1992-1994 Chevrolet Blazer

It took longer to remove the frame end cap screw than to install the hitch. I have a new frame on my 2006 Tacoma but they used the old end caps and stripped one of the bolt heads. After removing the end caps it was about an hour to install the hitch. There were three different torques two bolts would not take a socket. The plow blade wire harness took about a half hour, the blade mount about 15 minutes. The quality of the hitch and plow are outstanding, welds, fit and finish are great. Former quality control auditor. Haven't had snow to plow yet. I got my first Meyer Plow 50 years ago, full hydraulic mounted on a GMC 12 foot stake dump with a ton of weight on the axle.never got tuck, plowed in the blizzard of '76

I knew I was likely going to purchase this plow, however did not expect on Dec. 9th 2022 to take a ride off the road onto a rock wall, so now I had to fix the frame and the whole front end, picked up the hitch - repairs done, now need new bumper still, finally got that, put it and the hitch on (I recommend cutting the 2 rear bolts very short, made install a piece of cake, also, use a string to pull bolts up and through frame into hole, basically get a strong but small piece of string, run it through the hole where it goes and the other hole where you can fit the bolt into the frame, take a short piece of electrical tape, connect the string to the end of the bolt with the tape (as small as possible, inline) anyway, carefully pull bolt into hole and with your fingers (if possible) carefully pushing and guiding and gentle tugs on the string, it will get those bolts to where they need to go) I should have paid more attention to how short we cut the rear bolts (apologies). I want to think we had a little over an inch of total threads above the bolt head. I am glad I did this well ahead of time, worth it. As far as reviewing the plow itself? Basically it was very easy to put on the Envoy, I did get the wheel set, makes life real easy. The one snafu I had and, I get it, it happens, somehow, someway, I got the wrong wiring kit (someone messed up at Meyers, oooppsies) (it happens), no biggy, customer support is phenomenal and good. I will be so much more comforted when the snow flies knowing I can clear my way. Thank You AAG 🙂

Not too satisfied with the product, hangs very low and doesn’t have a lot of mobility.

The plow took no time to install--it was the receiver that took 2+ hours. The holes did not exactly line up so it took some work to get it mounted and bolted in place. The receiver assembly is a snug fit onto the truck but that is probably a good thing--no play at all when I drive with the plow attached. Now I need some snow so I can play! I gave all 5 stars because it is solid, looks great and seems like it should do the job well--looking forward to proving that out with some snow.

Everything was pre-assembled, the most time consuming thing was sawing up the crate it came in for the dumpster. Works as it should with no problems, to have the snow shoes included would have saved that extra step.

No snow yet so I don't know about performance. Look to be good quality for home plow use. Glad i got the wheels for the plow for easy maneuverability. No issues so far.

This was very easy to install. It took me almost as long to unpack it than it did to install it. It's easy moving it around my garage to store it and to move it and attach it to my truck. I ordered it on a Thursday and it was delivered on Monday. The plow looks very nice. It's ready for winter and my 200 foot driveway. I could not select a star rating but would rate it 5 stars on all categories.

Very easy product to install. I am plowing a medium sized parking lot and loading dock. It arrived a week earlier than expected, and in perfect shape. I would recommend this product to any one with a small to medium area and a 1/2 ton truck.

The hardest part was removing the old hitch. However, installing the new hitch, I had issues with the ability to actually use a torque wrench to tighten the 4 bolts to provided specs. Once that all was accomplished, your plow fit on like a glove and so far has performed flawlessly! Highly recommend this system.

Plow arrived in less than a week and packaged very well it took longer to brake the pallet apart than putting the plow on my truck. But now its time to put the front hitch on well it didn't line up very well had to a lot of grinding to make it fit. No snow yet but it looks good now just waiting for snow.

SE PA got hit with 20 to 30 inches of snow in a day an a half, I used this homeplow commercially and it held up great. Have it mounted on an '04 Chevy Colorado crewcab. Only little drawback is the slow movement of the acuator up and down. But that gives the time to shift the tranz without abuse. For what it is great value. P.S. Did purchase a light kit - a must on a Colorado.

Well I live in MA and we haven't had anything to plow as of yet but I can say the install was very easy and straight forward. It took about half an hour, maybe 45 min. The plow looks to be very well built as expected from Meyer. I don't see any reason why this plow wouldn't preform as they say it will and you can't beat the price. When the snow does fly I will update the review if needed.
