Oxygen is essential to your vehicle's performance. Without air your engine is just a hunk of metal sitting in your driveway. And the more air you feed your engine, the better it performs. That's where the Airaid Cold Air Intake System comes in.

The Airaid Cold Air Intake System is custom designed for your vehicle to provide far more air flow than your stock intake. With up to 20% more air flow comes up to 20 more horsepower, up to 20 lbs. more torque, and maybe even improved gas mileage.

Depending on your vehicle, you may choose an intake with Airaid's mandrel-formed crosslink nylon intake tube. This tube is powdercoated on the inside and outside for great protection from the elements as well as improved air flow and looks. You may also choose an intake that bolts to your stock inlet tube. All Airaid Intake Systems include Airaid's own high-flow filter, in either oiled SynthaFlow or dry SynthaMax designs. Each filter is washable, re-useable, and will last as long as your vehicle does.

Your Airaid Cold Air Intake System installs in half and hour or less. You don't need to do any cutting, drilling, or modifications. You'll barely even need to open the toolbox! Airaid backs your high-flow Cold Air Intake System with a Lifetime Warranty.

Very happy with this intake. Sounds really nice when you hit the gas. The install went well. The hardest part was the air filter was a very tight fit.

Purchased the AirAid SynthaMax intake system for my 2014 Ford Focus 2.0L GDI engine looking to improve power in the low to mid RPM's. I decided on the SynthaMax dry filter system based upon the advice of a friend who works in the automotive industry. He told me that some people have had problems with their sensors if they tend to over oil the filter. The oil droplets get into the system and coat the sensors which throws them off. That's why I chose the dry filter. Note: Normal oiling should not create any problems but some people like a liberal coating which could lead to oil droplets entering the system. Total installation time took ten minutes out of the box. Very simple. One Phillips head screwdriver. Results: The 2.0L GDI puts out a wonderful growl. I really need to try to hold myself back from jumping on the throttle just to hear the engine roar to life. Unfortunately the growl doesn't really translate into additional low end performance. I really haven't done much highway driving since I've installed it so I can't report on that end. What I have noticed though is an increase of approximately 2 MPG which is significant, making the engine run more efficiently, as long as I drive normally and keep my foot off of the gas. That growl sure sounds great though! AirAid was offering a $50 mail in rebate through September 30th too, which adds to my fuel savings.

My third CAI, and the first from Airaid. Well made, a snap to install on my '13 Expedition. Early to tell, but seems to add 1-1/2 to 2 mpg, and a HP boost, like my others, but that depends on how one drives.
