I purchased the FIPK Air Intake for my 2006 GMC Sierra with the 5.3 engine. Needless to say It ROCKS! It was easy to install (about 50 minutes),my truck has a recognizable difference in Horse Power, delivery time was real quick. And I have been telling all my friends about the K&N Air Intake. The performance makes this product have a 3 star rating. The use of a plastic intake tube that has a nut molded into it where you have to turn a bolt into it, sets the product up for failure. The nut immediately turns inside the plastic velocity tube, thus causing problems. You cannot tighten the bolt, and with it not being tight and the nut spinning inside the tube, now you have a vacuum leak. I used some plastic glue around the bolt, but I'm waiting delivery of a replacement tube. Use care when ordering this product.

This product is absolutely amazing. It keeps your engine cooler, and when you start to hit 4000 rpm you really hear that intake just gulp in air!! You really feel the difference. Very easy installation. took thirty minutes the most. all around a MUST BUY!!!

This intake might not look as pretty as some of the others but what it lacks in styling in more than makes up for in performance. Don't be duped to buying one of those shiny kits, get the FIPK and you'll see results where it matters most... horsepower!

Kit was complete, Instructions very detailed and accurate. Installation went well and as outlined in instructions. Last step could not be done because the clamps for securing the filter to the air tube were 1/2 inch to short. Had to go to auto parts place to finish job.Looks like about .8 to 1.2 MPG gains depending on speed. Better mileage improvement at highway speed.

I've had my K&N air intake in my truck since 2005 and I love it! After I installed it, a friend of mine in the passenger seat said that you could hear the engine breathe. Plus, you don't even need to worry about replacing the air filter every time you get an oil change.

I was completly satisfied with the purchase of my Air Intake Kit. I am a novice mechanic at best. However installation of this kit was fairly easy. It was harder taking the old air filter system off than it was installing the K&N Air Intake Kit. It has enhanced the performance of my truck and was well worth the installation.
