Chevy Avalanche Cold Air Intakes

For installation in my 2004 Avalanche, the filter assembly was not very smooth. The older air sensor section of the hose that needs to be attached does not fit very well, so I had to wrestle with the pieces to make it all fit together. Also, the connectors didn't seem to want to go together at all, their were too many little adapters that didn't match what was in the install manual, and the holes for the box mounts don't line up. Others have complained about these issues, so I'm not the first. I'm still not sure about how to attach the manifold air intake hose, so I've yet to do this step.
