Great additional storage for our trip cross-country for our family of 6. We attached it to our Odyssey and it did not affect our gas mileage at all. We also had the Thule cargo carrier on top and the trip went smoothly, even through the mountains and snow. AAG shipped it quickly and had the most competitive price.

We needed extra space on our trip to WY. as we just bought a new Edge and it wasn't quite the size for my husband, myself and our 2 dogs. The thule was just the right size to hold all our luggage and then some. Couldn't even tell that there was anything on the back of our car. We have already told our family and friends of this great product. My only diappointment was that this was not availble at any store and we were unable to view it before buying it. The product was just as advertised- large, easy to assemble and easy to connect. Minor nuisance is the lighting harness- I have a tow-hitch with the pigtail, 7-spade configuration. The product comes with an adapter for a 4-point configuration, so I had to drive to a U-Haul to buy a 4-into-7 adapter. Other than that, it was all good.

Bought this item for my 2000 Isuzu Trooper. The cargo box fit well though it does touch my sparetire. It doesn't tilt forward far enough to provide access to the rear cargo area because of the panel doors. If the Trooper had a rear hatch instead I'm sure it would've worked fine. Assembly was a snap, but requires two people to install it on to the vehicle as it is big and it's difficult to slide into your hitch receiver without assistance. It is a very roomy cargo box and I like the ability to lock it as well as the built in tail lights. I expect to get many long years of service from this cargo box. Great product from Thule! I'd definitely recommend this over a roof top carrier. However, you have to remember this adds length to your vehicle and you can't see it from your mirrors at all so you really need to be careful backing up to make sure you don't back into another car or something.

I ordered this cargo box form Auto Accessories Garage.com and it was at my door 4 days later. It took me longer to get around to unboxing and installing the unit on our Minivan. The box was easy to set up and install. I can do it by myself and this is a key selling point because I do not need someone to assist me during the install like some of the other boxes do. I like it so far and the tilt feature is perfect as it allows the back hatch to open completely.
