The cooler itself appears to be of good quality. On the negative side, Derale makes an unreasonably high emphasis on all kinds of fords - the fittings, adapters, and hoses are all ford-oriented (dodge/chevy - all are ford-kind things). More than that, the hose supplied does not fit their own adapters not to mention the fact that 4' hose is too short for virtually any installation. Optional fittings are also 100% ford-kind oriented. I ended up paying over $30 additionally to compensate for those shortcomings. The recommended through-the-radiator mounting is an extremely bad idea so I had to develop my own mounting system.
