    Each Drop Receiver is rated either Class III or Class IV for 10,000 pounds of towing strength.     It took two weeks for this product to ship. I haven't used the product yet, but it is from Blue Ox. It should be good.

    I had to hammer (very hard & many many poundings) the drop onto the tow bar & I tried to get it to the second hole, but the drop stopped about 1/2" beyond the first hole. It was almost impossible to pound it back the 1/2" to match up the first hole in my towbar. The instructions with the drop should have clearly stated to stop at the first hole, because the drop cannot be made to match up to the second (farthest hole from the end) hole in the towbar. Then one must make sure the other wires & cables are long enough to fit & secure the tow equipment because the drop extends the towed vehicle back some distance. As of this writing, I have not towed with the drop yet, so cannot actually rate the performance of the drop.

    The holes did not line up when i tried to put the pin into the hole. I was under a time crunch and didnt have the time to buy another one. An item that. It shuld have taken 5 seconds to install took 2 hrs. I also, bought a Blue Ox Brake Buddy from another distributor. The foot lever that goes over the brake didnt have a proper hole drilled into it and the first time i used it the foot lever slipped off of the brake pedal and it of course didnt work. I called Blue Ox customer service and that was a bust they kept putting me off. So i had to go back to the distributor that i had originally boughgt it and they drilled a hole and put a clip into. The hole as it should have been in the first place. Im not happy with Blue Ox.
