Curt Hitches are manufactured to high-precision standards with robotic welding for high strength. The Curt Trailer Hitch is designed to bolt on quickly and securely for a perfect fit on your ride. Before getting hit with a Black powder-coat, the hitch is dipped in Curt's new A-Coat prefinish. The A-Coat and powder-coat cure together to provide amazing resistance to chipping and rust, inside and out. As well, certain Hitches are available in square tube designs that hide the crosstube or a more visible round tube design.

Your Curt Hitch doesn't just look great and fit great - it's also built tough enough to provide years of solid, reliable towing. The robotic welds ensure optimal performance, and the unique sealed Curt Hitch design keeps the elements out to prevent corrosion and rust. The receiver's open-back design makes it easy to keep the hitch receiver clean and clear of junk. Best yet, all Curt Hitches are custom-designed for a precise, perfect fit on your exact vehicle and maximum towing strength. Curt is so confident in the strength and quality of their products that your Curt Hitch is backed with a Lifetime Warranty.

Would have installed faster but the instructions threw me off. It said to remove the two bolts that may be connected by a piece of metal and cut it in half and replace the front one. Actually on my truck there are three bolts and the two connected bolts didn't need to be touched and a third upper bolt. I wasted about an hour heating up the bolts, removing them, cutting the metal band and replacing the front one. I Only had to remove the third top bolt then the unit fit right in and bolted to the existing pre drilled holes.

Only problem I ran into: threads where hitch go to frame were full of rust had to run a tap through them.

I'm very pleased with the towing package. Very well built and easy to install. Took me about 10 minutes to remove my old one and install the curt hitch. I just wish it had a bracket to mount my trailer lights plug to.

My C320 sport wagon is a Lorinzer version and had a non-standard rear facia which required producing a access hole for the receiver, then making a decorative insert which fills it between uses. It now is just what I had wanted: a one-off custom, fitting for a Mercedes.

I love the hitch but the bolts you send with it was different sizes. I used 4 bolts out of 6 that will work. The price of this hitch is very good. I will tell any body to buy this I will give this hitch a A+

Very nice quality - can't tell from factory installed. Use WD40 or similar lubricant when sliding off rubber muffler hangers. Only suggestion for Curt - include a receiver hitch cover with "Curt" on it. Free advertising and I don't have to go out and buy one. On delivery, my cardboard box as smashed up, but hitch came through just fine. Curt might do a better job on packaging. AutoAccessoriesGarage did a nice job on quick delivery and a good price.

This hitch is good quality, the directions are fairly easy to follow and it fits up nicely. The only issue I notice is that since it's concealed behind the bumper and with the spare tire in close proximity to the receiver portion of the hitch, getting the hitch pin in and out is going to be a bugger so you may need (or want) an extender. Since we're only using it for a bike rack, I did not have to deal with wiring so keep that in mind as well. That will likely require some extra time and an aftermarket wiring harness. I gave 3 stars for performance only because we haven't actually used it yet but, given the quality and good fitting of the hitch it will work well. I've fitted and used quite a number of hitches so I'm confident of that. Keep in mind also that this is a "Class 1" hitch and a Mini Cooper. Bike racks will be fine but if you plan to tow a trailer, make sure that it's a small trailer and light in weight. A Class 1 hitch is rated for 2000 lbs Gross Trailer Weight and 200 lbs of tongue weight but personally I would stay well below that.
