I am a professional mechanic, owner of the truck & the step buyer too. This step is a great way to avoid a fall while climbing the rear tires of your PU truck in bad weather, plus allows better access to front of bed. The step is well designed, made from heavy materials and easily installed with basic wrenching skills. The cost is less than half the cost for a side bed step from Ford, purchased as a part or at new purchase time. If you use your bed you need one!

2010 Silverado 6.5 ft standard cab. I bought these because I am 6' 2" tall and can't get anything out of the bed of the truck because I am too short. I bought this particular brand because I don't have my boyish figure anymore. The hiding steps are also great for going off road. These steps are built tough. Looks like 1\4 in. steel. Took me a little while to install the first one(I'm a little slow) but the second one was a breeze. Instructions were perfect. Did I mention I am 60yrs old. Nice job AMP. Will recommend to everyone I meet.

This product did not fit my truck without doing some additional adjustments. I have a 2012 F250.

I installed a BedStep 2 on my 2009 Chevy 2500HD truck. It looks great. I really need to reach the tool box from the driver's side and it was just too high to reach. I am 6'2" and 220 lbs and the BedStep 2 works perfectly. Installation was fairly simple and took about 2 hours. I highly recommend it.

Good quality. A little more difficult to install than the Bed Step. Really great on a high bed pickup.

If there is a tool box in the truck box the steps need to be mounted farther back (on a long box).
