Class 1: 2,000 lbs. Gross Trailer Weight (GTW), 200 lbs. Tongue Weight (TW)
Class 2: 3,500 lbs. GTW, 300 lbs. TW
Class 3: 3,500-6,000 lbs. GTW, 350-600 lbs. TW
Class 4-5: 6,000-12,000 lbs. GTW, 600-1,200 lbs. TW

My trailer hitch installation required lowering the dual exhaust pipes, then using a small floor jack to lift the hitch in place above them. As I am hadicapped, I cannot do any lifting. Once in place, I was able to bolt it to the frame. It worked just fine. Note: I am 77 years old. The hitch carries my scooter rack. I am happy with my purchase.

Overall quality of the material was good, but the instructions were not very helpful and when the item arrived, it didn't line up with the frame on my car. I had to bend it to make it fit.

Just like the instructions implied, it was easy to install. One adaptation that I made largely because I'm not as strong as a bull was to utilize a couple of brass rods inserted as a pilot to hold the receiver up into place while I attemped bolting. This all went smoothly..
