The splice on folding winch rope shackle thimble design makes it easy to splice in a variety of situations. Your Factor 55 Flat Splicer Splice-On Shackle Mount can be folded flat against winch fairleads, making your front end as flat and flush as can be. Plus, since the design stows with the groove side facing the winch, you eliminate any UV damage or abrasions that might impact the winch rope. This component is perfect for off-roaders that want to completely protect their winch rope without compromising their approach angle.
Though the piece itself is just 1.75" thick, it can accommodate ¾" shackles (pin and bow) or the pin ends of bigger, 7/8" shackles. Integrated EPDM rubber pads for added safety against scratches and scuffs. Made in the USA and backed by a 1-Year Warranty.
