    This bed extender was fairly easy to install, it was a little nerving to drill holes in my new truck though. It was shipped quickly but the box came with some shipping damage to it and the extender had some pretty deep scratches on it which took off some of the black coating, but was not bad enough to send it back, I just touched it up with some flat black spray paint. The extender does seam to scratch pretty easy, so I used some HVAC pipe covering to cover the top bar to help protect it from being scratched every time I use it. I am using it mostly for carrying ladders for work in my short bed truck to avoid having to use ladder racks. It serves its purpose, looks good and seams well built. I choose this over the Lund unit the dealer sells because the shape is wider, to use more of the area on the tailgate. So far happy with the product

    Had to buy another bracket because the extender didn't work with the cover I bought at the same time from the same place. Had to have a professional install it. Would not buy again.
