The BAK BakBox Truck Toolbox assembles instantly and simply mounts to the rails of your BakFlip Tonneau Cover - just hang the box and hit the road. Its collapsible design folds away into the back of the truck in seconds, giving you full access to the truck bed when needed. The BakFlip Toolbox is also detachable and removes from the rails quickly, so you can take your gear straight to the work site, ball game, or picnic.

The BakFlip Storage Box is as secure and strong as it is convenient. It's built from the same super-durable panels as the BakFlip for time tested strength. The panel cores are made from waterproof EPS polystyrene that insulates the box. You can even add ice to the BakBox and use it as a cooler. The BAK BakBox truck toolbox has no lid - rather, it uses the panels of your water-tight BakFlip Tonneau Cover to keep the elements out. Because it mounts under the BakFlip rails, the BakBox tonneau toolbox is completely hidden from view and secure when the tonneau is closed. Installation and assembly are very simple. Inside measurements are less than I had hoped, but in defense of the seller, I didn't investigate the size. Inside is about 10" X 10" with a little room below the bakflip cover. Very solid product that will serve me very well.

I ordered this with the Bakflip F1 cover and it really does integrate quite nicely with the cover. I would not purchase this without a BakFlip cover. I was a little worried about the heaviness of the materials and the fact that velcro straps holding the box together when unfolded but honestly it does an amazing job. I think it's because of the amount of surface area the Velcro comes in contact with and the fact that you're pulling vertically against the connection instead of horizontally. This toolbox is not going to replace a heavy-duty diamond-trend box, but if you're looking for something to hold nick-knacks or tools so they don't roll around in the truck bed and then also be able to fold up the case when you fold up your BakFlip, this is a great solution.
