About Prothane

Prothane was founded in 1991 when it acquired a small but promising manufacturer named BC Engineering. They initially only offered around 100 part numbers for trucks, but their special formulations, accurate engineering, and dedication to customer service made them noticeable in the field. Before long Prothane expanded to become the most extensive line of urethane performance parts for cars and trucks. Whether foreign or domestic, pickup or compact, Prothane has quality urethane parts for it.

Prothane's design solutions have resulted in some excellent innovations. They were the first to use grooved or splined bores to hold their own SuperGrease lubrication, ensuring years of squeak-free operation and no need for worthless additives or grease fittings. They also came up with Motor Mount Inserts for FWD sport compacts which let the vehicle be driven hard or easy without losing ride quality or causing stock mount failure.
