I have noticed a marked fuel mileage increase since I installed this filter in my 98 Dodge. I have also noticed an overall performance increase since installing it. Not sure what the overall gains are at this time but I would recommend replacing regular filters with a K&N filter as soon as you can possibly do it.

This is the second K&N filter I have bought. The first one was for our Town & Country Mini Van which original engine lasted 0ver 280,000 miles. Yes, a Chrysler. Who'da thunk! We are hoping this one will last just as long on the BMW.

What can be said about a K&N filter that hasn't already been said. It's very easy to install (what filter isn't) and it's ease of cleaning and reusing is great. While you pay a little more up front, over the long haul it pays for itself. I've got one on both my vehicles.
