The catalytic converter bolted to the back of your ride’s underside is a modern marvel of machinery that scrubs the pollution out of the exhaust before it ever leaves your tailpipe. But over time, all of that crud will start to clog the walls of your CC – causing it to do more harm than good. Poor MPG, reduced power, and sluggish acceleration are just a few of the things that a brand new PaceSetter 49 State Manifold Catalytic Converter will completely restore.

Custom engineered to directly replace your OEM converter, the PaceSetter 49 State Manifold Catalytic Converter is built tough from 16-guage Stainless Steel. The mandrel bent custom fit of this CC provides a completely unrestricted flow of exhaust – which means your vehicle can perform at the best of its ability. The direct swap-out of your factory gear requires nothing more than a quick bolt-on installation for most vehicles, though some applications may require some welding.

This catalytic converter is legal in 49 states, meaning you can ride around with this EPA approved piece anywhere in the country, just as long as your license plate doesn’t feature the name ‘California.’ This CC is proudly manufactured in the USA, and backed by an EPA regulated 5 year/50,000 Warranty.

Firstly, the simple fact that somebody makes an affordable exhaust manifold for this vehicle is appreciated. However, they could’ve done a much better job on the finished product. The first thing we noticed is that it has no provision for the factory studs that were in the OE manifold. We had to go purchase stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers. We then discovered that the lower flange did not meet up to the exhaust pipe properly, and the front exhaust hanger had to be removed from the engine and smacked around a little bit with a hammer to get things to line up, and even that he was a bit of a struggle. Then, we found that there were only three of four mounting points for the front heat shield on this unit, but only two of them lined up properly. The lower mount was set back half an inch too low to boot. There was absolutely no way to get that want to work. Lastly, it’s not a very appealing looking product. Oh, no it is not mentioned in the description, it does come with both gaskets, but the one for the manifold to pipe flange is a little sketchy. All of that having been said, I am satisfied with it, and would recommend it for this application, though for other vehicles if other brands were available for a reasonable price I would look into them first.

Product arrived as pictured. Came with 3 extra manifold bolts and nuts just incase you broke one of the 7 off. Only things I didn't realize that it didn't come with were two gaskets you need for the manifold and the downpipe. Overall pleased with my purchase. Only took so long because my old one was a little stubborn but nothing some pb blaster couldn't help with. Everything bolted up just as it should including the two heatshields that were on my old cat.
