No drilling was required. Installed relatively easily. The first one is always the hardest. Quality is good. I would like to see the step a bit wider.

The steps fit perfectly on my 05 Ram 3500 single rear tire truck. Only one hole to drill. I put the whole thing together on the work bench to be sure I got the parts correct. Be careful not to drill the single hole too close or the step support will rub against the inside of the body panel. And, would you believe the second step went three times as fast? Once you've done it it's a piece of cake and you can help your neighbor install his.
