Hauling heavier loads puts a big strain on your suspension. Without reinforcement you could end up with a sagging ride, with a lack of control and comfort. Bolt on a set of Gabriel Load Carrier Spring Assist Shocks, though, and your vehicle will ride like it's not pulling anything at all.

The key to Gabriel Spring Assist Load Carrier Shocks is their coilover design. By adding finely-tuned springs to the equation, these shocks give you the best of both worlds. Front Load Carriers include a constant-rate coil spring that restores or maintains your ride height while offering better towing stability. Rear shocks come with variable-rate springs to give you a 500 pound load capacity per pair (still, do not exceed your vehicle's GVWR when towing!). And with the chromed piston rod, leak-proof piston seal, and Drawn-Over-Mandrel Tubing design found in all of Gabriel's shocks, you know you're getting rugged performance that lasts.

Get the most comfort and stability in your towing machine with Gabriel Load Carrier Spring Assist Shocks. Backed with a 1-Year/25,000-Mile Warranty.

These shocks appear to be of the highest quality, the Gabriel Answerman line was very helpful with questions I had concerning installation. These shocks worked perfectly on the rear of my 1992 Toyota pickup. They boosted the rear approximately 2 inches and have greatly increased the load capacity without a harsh ride. I would recommend this shock setup. A great value.

The shocks work great with our Chevy Silverado 1500. We pulled a 27 ft trailer with no problems. Highly recommend!

Seem to work. Stiffened up suspension. Were a real pain to install without a hoist. Needed to remove the spring collar at top of shock to compress enough to get bolts in. No instructions, but I'm sure its why the "slot" is cut in the collar!

After I put a V8 in my 1995 s-10, I had to beef up the suspension in the front to keep the truck from bottoming out. I installed these shocks with coils on them. They raised the truck a bit in the front end, and give the truck a much better ride and handling. Easier to install than they appear. No more bouncy front end!

These worked very well to beef-up my towing ability. I added these to my Tahoe to help with rear end sag when towing my tractor. They helped level out the ride and gave me better control.
