Hellwig Suspension has a full line of medium-duty helper springs for trucks looking for light to medium hauling lift. Choose from four different models of helper springs that offer 550 to 2,000 pounds Level Load Capacity. The LP and EZ Series Helper Springs are crafted from ASTM 5150 alloy spring steel in the USA with heavy duty components and easy-to-install bolt on designs.

Hellwig Medium Duty Helper Springs feature a Progressive Spring Rate, which adds spring tension proportionately to the load. This means your ride is virtually unaffected by the springs when doing unloaded driving, and that heavier loads get the proper resistance to maintain your control and to prevent excessive sagging.

Fine tuning your Hellwig EZ or LP Series Helper Springs is simply a matter of adjusting the supplied heavy-duty U-bolts with common hand tools. You can adjust your spring resistance up or down as your hauling or towing needs change. With this option you can handle many different kinds of equipment and cargo loads with custom-tuned control and stability.

Your Hellwig EZ/LP Medium Duty Helper Springs are built in the USA from premium materials and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

I installed the Hellwig 980 on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma to help with slightly sagging springs and to prevent excessive squatting of the rear of my truck when towing my small camper. I installed following the manufacturers instructions, but I also checked the 'before and after' normal ride height of my truck. I gained an inch in the rear and returned the truck back to its original factory height. The stance looks much better, no noticeable change in the ride and best of all, when the truck was loaded with the camper hitched to it, the truck only squatted 3/4 of an inch (it looks level when towing)! Couldn't be happier with the product or the service from AutoAccessoriesGarage. I had been looking for this to go on sale at several different places and stumbled across AutoAccessoriesGarage's regular price that was $10 cheaper than anyone else. Oh, and they beat their own estimated shipping date! They will always be considered on future purchases. Great experience all around!

I received the Hellwig LP15 spring kit quickly and checked that all parts were there. Installation was quick except my one complaint was that I had to chase a few shackle bolt threads to start the nuts. Great add on to my 2012 Colorado Z71 Crew-cab requiring only deep sockets, ratchet, torque wrench, 7/16 thread die and utility knife to trim the ears on the vibration pads that were factory installed under the front spring straps. With that modification, I did not need to remove any factory spring straps or the bracket that supports the brake lines. Although I have not towed with it yet, my truck appears much more stable and I anticipate the product will perform as advertised.

I have installed this product on a previous owned truck (2002 Toyota Tundra) and I know it works well. The installation on my 2011 GMC Canyon WT went quickly and this product improved the ride. The only negatives are that the ends of the u-bolts hang down and are seen from the back of the truck and shipping took a long time (over a week).

Worked great. I needed a little help to keep my S10 level with some heavy loads in the back and this really works great to do just that!

First off, great supplier. Very professional handling of what I consider to be a poor vehicle cross reference from Hellwig. AAG replaced the original product extremely quickly with no hassle - great service. As to the product, it is great now that I have the right one. One improvement should be that the instructions provide fastener torque specs. "tighten completely" is nonsense. FYI: the original Hellwig 550's were NOT correct for my 2003 Ranger unless I was willing to modify the stock springs - so buyers beware.

Excellent set of leveler springs, instructions are fairly basic. Could be a bit more in detail. Overall quality of the product is great! It has also helped improve the handling of my truck when it's not loaded too!

Helpers were as described, except they arrived without the washers and nuts for installation. Box seemed to have been repaired, so maybe it was UPS.
