Snow plow users have had to accept certain equipment deficiencies as part of the deal with owning personal plows for years. The folks at FirstTrax think that's ridiculous, and they've designed the FirstTrax Premium Snow Plow to be the best snow plow available on the market today.

The designers of FirstTrax Snow Plows researched the limitations and malfunctions common to home snowplows. They then took this information and developed innovative strategies to combat them. An enormous 80", 85", or 90" long blade cuts an immense path down your driveway or on your backcountry lane, and its durable steel construction is guaranteed to hold up to whatever Mother Nature can dish out. Even better, unlike other plows that require manual effort to change your blade's angle, the FirstTrax Premium Snow Plow features a hydraulic angling mechanism that lets you change the angle from the warmth and safety of your vehicle.

Every FirstTrax snow plow system comes with a custom-designed mounting kit that bolts to existing holes in your vehicle's frame and sits out of view once installed. To prolong the life of your FirstTrax Premium Snow Plow, the powder-coated blade skin resists corrosion, while the floating knuckle reduces side stress. Heavy-duty springs ensure optimum performance for your plow when in action, and a self-leveling plate keeps everything level in all positions. A variety of accessories are also included to help you install and get the most out of your FirstTrax Premium plow.

When it comes to snow plows, you no longer have to settle for less. Get a system for your truck that works as hard as you do with the FirstTrax Premium Snow Plow. Backed by a 1-Year Warranty.

The plow was pretty well jammed into the right direction position upon arrival; this prevented the engagement of the right castor until I could get power to it. Seems pretty well built for a home owner product. The hydraulics work very smooth and well. While I'm not too thrilled with the custom mount for my Nissan Frontier, I'll need to double check the diagram and my mounting to make sure that I followed it correctly. If I did there is an issue with the bracket mounting location since I had to strongarm the thing together in cold weather. Just remember: this is not a "back drag" plow if you purchase one.

The FirstTrax snowplow came on a pallet, strapped down really well with all accessories and harnesses needed. Mount of brackets and brace took merely an house. I made a tutorial on youtube.com for Chevy Silverado owners. The galvanized framework should last many many years, the hydraulic system is very powerful, and seems to be of excellent quality. AutoAccessoriesGarage.com had excellent communication and super customer service from order to delivery. This plow is perfect for the home user with a little bit more than average area to plow than usual. This plow is made in Canada, I believe Canadians KNOW SNOW, and make products that meets the demand.

Initial report is positive. Installed it on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler in 2.5 hours. The electrical connection went on with no problem, plow is fully operational. I have had a fisher plow in the past and the FirstTrax looks like it should perform just as well. More to follow when the snow falls.

It's a great plow for the price. The install was easier than I thought but the directions could use more detail and better pictures. Everything fit together great! I have to contact the manufacturer because the truck has a 3 in lift on it and the blade just touched the ground. They said it shouldn't be an issue but it is so I need to look at some options.

It took me more than 2hrs to install. and it looks too low for my 2003 Expedition. I hope it will do the job when it snows.
