The AMP Research PowerStep is a huge step forward in running board convenience. Its fully-automated design extends out and down when you open your door, and retracts in when you close it. Amp Power Steps give you an easy, handy stepping surface without sacrificing your ground clearance or vehicle's clean lines.

The AMP Power Step provides a super wide stepping area that's more natural and safe than standard nerf bars or running boards, plus they're made from tough aluminum for a 600 pound carrying capacity. The side steps and motors have been tested in every environment and temperature from 200 degrees F to 40 below zero for proven tough performance. Also available on select models, is the "Plug and Play" feature, which allows you to power your running boards through your vehicle's OBD-II port. This means no wire splicing, no removal of door panels, and since it features a pass-thru harness, you'll still retain access to your OBD-II port.

Your AMP Research PowerStep Running Boards are backed with a 5-Year/60K Mile Warranty.

Purchased them as a Xmas gift for myself for my 2016 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 4x4. I had them installed by a local truck shop. They look GREAT and function as described. I like the clean look of the truck with the steps. I would purchase again.

Purchased these for my 2016 Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab. I had them installed professionally by a local shop. They look and perform GREAT!! I have had trucks for over 50 years, all prior running boards have been fixed. I like the look without the fixed running boards. I also like the width of the steps.

Amp steps are great! Completely hidden when they are up and the width of the step is very wide and easy to step on! Best money I have spent on my truck so far!

Looks good & feels solid. Instructions for the wiring on the supercab was a little unclear do to different option packages ford puts into the trucks. The green w/purple strip you will have 4 of them. As for the solid white wire you will have two of them.you will have to take a ohm meter and negotiate your way threw the wires.

Works great. Had my mechanic install which took 6 hours but they soldered all electrical connections and did an excellent job.

Was really disappointed to find that they don't offer a step for the drivers side and have never researched it. I feel I got screwed having to buy two steps and modify one where as any other vehicle contains both sides at just a slight higher cost. Performs as designed but wish the steps wouldn't go as low as they do.
