The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. With the BakFLip G2 you'll enjoy the security of having a locking trunk for your truck, while still having access to your entire truck bed! The innovative BakFlip G2 folds completely forward and against your truck's rear cab giving you access to all of your truck bed without removing the cover.
The BakFlip is also easily removable. All you have to do is remove 2 wing nuts and since the cover weighs only 40 lbs, it's easy to move yourself! Additionally, the BakFlip WILL NOT INTERFERE with stake hole pockets on your truck, working perfectly with tie downs, side rails, overhead truck racks, and headache racks. The BAK BakFlip is also 100% weatherproof, unaffected by rain and snow. It also does not shrink or expand when the temperature shifts. The panels of your BakFlip G2 are built tough from dual ABS laminate over a honeycomb core that can shoulder up to 200lbs. of evenly distributed weight

Received and installed this cover on my 2006 Ram Quad cab 2 weeks ago. Installation was relatively easy only because my brother-in-law had done his with some help 2 months ago. The directions that come with this are woefully inadequate. Total time spent was almost 2 hours because I had to drill drainage holes in the bed of my truck. This cover looks great, and is a snap to open and close. The only reason I rated the quality at 4 stars was due to the machine screws snapping off at the head where the support rod attaches.

I am very pleased with this product. I easily installed it myself in less than 30 minutes with simple hand tools. The unit comes completely off in minutes, to allow access to the entire bed, and opens and closes securely and easily. I just drove through 5 hours of hard rain without a drop of water getting inside. I highly recommend this product.

Looks great, easy straightforward installation, good install directions. Only negative is no built in lock. If your tailgate doesn't lock you will have to buy a poplock and install it yourself to get the cover to lock.
