A crew cab truck may give your passengers plenty of room, but you may find yourself frequently maxing out your bed's cargo space. Adding a retracting tonneau cover may give you superior protection, but its bulky canister can limit that bed space even more. Your solution? The quick-removing Pace Edwards Switchblade Tonneau Cover.

Installing the Pace Edwards Switchblade only requires a Phillips head screwdriver, a 7/16" wrench, and a few minutes. When you need every bit of space in your bed, the whole cover removes just as quickly. That means you'll have room for even the biggest cargo loads whenever you need it.

The Switchblade Tonneau Cover boasts Pace Edwards's rugged, exclusive ArmorTek construction. Tough-yet-lightweight aluminum panels are covered with a padded polymer for a soft-tonneau look. The cover's low-profile design also sits flush against your truck bed for sleek style. Best of all, the cover slides open and closed in just seconds, it opens from either side of your bed, and it even includes a full-length pull strap so you can close it up easily.

Give your short bed the cargo coverage and the flexibility you need with the Pace Edwards Switchblade. Backed with a 1-Year Warranty.

1. You should make people aware that if they have a box liner they will in most cases have to cut out some of it in the two corners next to the cab, otherwise the cover will not fit up close to the cab. 2. Is there any adjustment to the tension on the roll up mechanism, mine will not roll up by itself until it gets about halfway on the Box. Is there any lube that can be used to make it glide better? 3.I wish the four black screws that hold the finish cover on would be a special screw head to make it harder for someone to steal it. Otherwise I am very happy with your product.

Installed this on 2016 F-150, super crew. Only had this installed for about a week now. So far so good. I read multiple reviews before buying so I will give our experience on what I read most common pros and cons. As far as the noise some people said they heard doing more than 35mph, I have not had a problem. The day after I installed it I rode down the interstate for about 8 miles at 75-80mph and I could see it “flapping/whipping” but I couldn’t hear anything unless I rolled up all the windows inside the truck and then opened the back window and even then it was just a little noise, nothing crazy or irritating. It’s poured rain a few times here since I’ve installed this and the drains seem to be doing their job. I have only noticed a very small amount of water near the tailgate where the cover doesn’t completely come all the way to the back but we were aware of this and prepared for this ahead of time by watching YouTube install videos. We used some of the extra foam/seal from the unit to apply to tailgate to lessen the gap. I’ve included a picture of the cover on the truck and the “gap” at the rear by the tailgate where we added the seal. Also I would like to add that I am a women and was able to inbox and install this by myself. My teenage daughter helped a little just so I didn’t have to keep getting in and out of the back of the pick-up and my husband came out and helped a little but very easy to install!!!

Cover was easy to install after watching an instructional video. Looks nice and operates well so far. Went through a hard rain the past few days and only had a few drops get in bed by tailgate.

Installed about 2 weeks ago. It has worked great so far. Looks better than I expected on my 2017 F150. I considered paying more for the Jackrabbit to get the flush look by the cab, but glad I didn't, the Switchblade looks great, you don't really notice the box by the cab. And I wanted the Switchblades ability to easily remove it if I needed to. The rollup seems smooth, and it does not flap by the tailgate at higher speeds. It does have a little bounce to it in the middle at speed, I can only really hear it a little if I have the rear window open, but it is not bad at all, not as bad as a standard Tonneau cover I had on my old Tacoma. My first drive it the rain was this morning, only had a small couple of drops at the tailgate slides, but I believe I can seal it with a left of piece of the tailgate seal I also purchased. Will have to wait until a harder rain to really give a good review about water tightness and how well the rails drain. I do wish they had some small drain tubes on the Switchblade at the rear of the rails in case you are parked on an uphill. But it seems to be worth the money so far, especially since it is at the very bottom of the price range for roll-up cover. I did a good bit of research before getting the Switchblade, read a lot of reviews for other brands, and they all seem to have the same issues with leaking and flapping, and were more expensive. I don't think I will miss having a looking point at every foot like over models have, maybe it would be nice if I had a long bed, but with a short bed I don't see any reason for not just opening it up all the way. AutoAccessoriesGarage.com definitely has the lowest price, by about $100, and the Free shipping is key.

This is the second cover we have owned from Pace Edwards, only buying a new one because I bought a new truck. It is very durable and holds up in bad weather. We travel a lot and this keeps everything dry and secure. Installation was the only challenge because of the liner in the bed. The liner had to be cut in the front so the cover could be installed correctly. Sounds daunting but it's pretty easy.

Very nice cover. No stall was very easy. Looks great on my truck and very easy to use. Does not take up much room in the front of the box. Pace Edwards makes good products and this one was well worth the money I spent.
