With today’s technology I find it disappointing they they recommend to paint it because it is not UV resistant. The louver is also very thin and flimsy feeling. I’m sure some hot 110° days will will warp it. But it is a nice looking item.

Louvers look great, and although I'm glad I went with the ABS after one year I think they might be turning a little gray. Although Willpak's Web site claims they don't need to be painted, I think I'll probably pull them off and paint them so they stay fresh looking. Two mounting tabs which should be adhered to the glass were missing from my shipment. I contacted Willpak and although a week later they said they would send them, I never received anything and they did not respond to my second email. I bought these mainly to help the AC keep up in the summer heat and they work well for that. There is no rattling with these ABS louvers even with my sub. I would purchase these again if in the market, but next time I'll send them back if parts are missing as Willpak did not do the right thing.
