Buick Regal Brakes, Pads and Rotors

I purchased a complete set of brakes for a 2000 Buick Regal in 2014. The factory original units lasted just at 80,000 miles as I do a lot of freeway driving. Wanting to upgrade do more efficient brakes I bought the slotted, cross drilled units. The stopping ability improvement was very noticeable and there was no fade in hard stops. However, at 60,000 miles the front disk slots are completely worn away and the pads are almost gone. Not sure if that is a good trade off. I have to assume the trade off is worth the dollars spent. Purchased a complete car set for a 2000 Buick Regal. All the parts were well boxed and included new pad clips. The installation of the fronts took longer than expected due to the 15mm bolts that held the caliper mounts on were extremely tight and required cheater bars to remove. The front disc's appeared well made and ran true on the spindles. It would have been nice if the bedding instructions were with the product, but a "live chat" with AutoAccessories led me to the directions on a web site. So far they seem crisp without grabbing. I had 95K miles on the original factory brakes, time will tell with these.

My 99 Regal needed front brakes. I shopped around and came across the power stop kit. It was just what I wanted, cross-drilled and slotted, and only about $25.00 more than stock parts. The stopping power now is awesome and they look totally cool. I'm very happy with the purchase.
