So far, the bug/rock deflector and hood protector has stood up to traveling across country and weather changes. The air stream deflects most insects onto the top of the windshield resulting in only large bees and grasshoppers staining the mid portion. The installation instructions indicated greater difficulty than it really was. I needed help holding the item for only a few minutes, but otherwise it is a self-install product. Plan on 30-40 minute to read and identify parts, then do the install. Once done, it would only take 15-20 minutes to install another. We will see if it still performs in 3-5 years..
