Really enjoy having these on my car. I have a few friends that are shorter including my mom (mom height 4'10") and these work amazing for them. They give the car a nice aggressive look while also keeping my doors from getting dinged by other cars. They can be installed alone but it will take some time. I have a 2010 4Runner SR5 and I needed to slide the nerf bar brackets underneath the already existing car brackets which was a little difficult but manageable. I bolted the center ones lightly to hold up the bars and then screwed in the remaining bolts. Once they were all set I tightened them all. Fairly easy to install, although the instructions didn’t mention the need for 10mm wrench and socket. Not a major problem. The boards look great! Very satisfied with the value and quality!
