For all its utility, a tonneau cover is a magnet for scratches, scuffing, and damage. The same thing that protects cargo so well and makes trucks look so stylish can, with regular use, become a beaten up, dented, embarrassing eyesore. Unless, of course, hardworking men and women use a BakFlip FiberMax Tonneau Cover.

The secret to this tonneau's durability is a fiberglass reinforced polymer top layer that resists denting, scratching, and scuffing. Never again worry about your investment being damaged into obsolescence, not when this top layer works with a heavy-duty aluminum bottom layer guaranteed to maintain its structural integrity in any weather conditions and a 2 lbs. core for uniform strength. The simple-to-install BakFlip FiberMax Tonneau Cover features rubber bumpers that protect your truck bed, truck cab, and rear window from accidental damage caused by shifting cargo, and a hinge design prevents rain and snow from damaging your cargo. This tonneau can also be easily folded up into a variety of positions, and even removed entirely, depending on the size of your cargo, and everything is locked away safely when this cover is fully closed by simply locking your tailgate.

Few investments in your truck's future pay off as handsomely as the purchase of a tonneau cover. Ensure that yours survives for a long, productive life by picking up a BackFlip FiberMax Tonneau Cover. Backed by a 2-Year Warranty.

Absolutely love this tonneau. It was relatively easy to install and the feature I like the most is you don't have to open it to close the tailgate. I had a different brand on a different truck I had and each time you opened the tailgate, you would have to open the tonneau, close the tail gate then drop the top. This one is so much better. Also, we have had a ton of rain lately and it does not appear to leak! Great purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Installed on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. I like the Fibermax look and finish and the like the latch system of the panels other than the front panel. The product quality was good except for a couple of issues that I would not expect from a cover at this price point. The holes for the buckle mounts weren't cleaned out and took some extra work to clean those out to get the hardware in to bolt those down. The passenger-side rail bracket bolt holes also didn't line up well and it took me considerable extra time to figure out the best way to handle this without potentially cross-threading the bolts. Not sure if the bracket holes were slightly off or the truck tie-down bracket mounting holes were off. Either way, they were off just enough to require removing the bracket from the rail (directions say to loosely install the bracket to the rail first), mount the bracket by starting the bolts with the bracket held away from the wall and let the bracket pull in and square up when the bolts were tightened (this works because of the angle of the wall at the mounting point), and then bolting the bracket to the rail. Also, because of the double rail mounting system on the Ridgeline, the cover is up high enough at the rear that the tailgate seal sets slightly above the tailgate and doesn’t touch the tailgate, and I did made sure the rails were down as tight as possible to the bed. I overcame this by putting the unused front bulkhead seal in the gap between the tailgate seal and the panel edge and the edge of the added seal contacts the front edge of the tailgate to seal it. The one good thing about this is that is allows me to open and close the tailgate vertically and horizontally without having to lift the cover. I also installed a tailgate seal but note that due to the design of the Ridgeline bed at the tailgate, it appears unlikely that you can seal out all water. The necessary slopes of the seal funnel any water towards low spots and will find its way in. One thing to note during assembly, don't put the plastic rear rail caps in until the rails are mounted in the proper position. The inside rail is slightly longer than the outside rail and if you put the caps in first, it prevents the inside rail from going into the proper position. Due to the lower bed wall height of the ridgeline, the front fixed panel of this cover is actually in the way when I try to put multiple kayaks on edge in the bed and because of the way this panel is fastened down, it is not as easy as I would like to remove the entire panel assembly. It would have been better if this were a quick clamp system instead of the bolt down method. If I were to do it over, I would buy a cover where it would be easier to remove the entire panel assembly.

This is a quality product. However, it seems that there is no way it would support 300lbs evenly distributed or not. I put my 36lb son on it toward one side and the tonneau sinks it to where I thought it would fail. With that said, I don't plan on transporting items like that! Sooo, overall this looks good and works decently.

My truck has a drop in bed late net, and it wasn’t installed correctly by the dealer. I had to remove the cover, install the Berliner correctly, then trim some of the front corners of the bedliner, about 1/4”, then it fit perfectly.

Product fit as advertised - all materials were supplied - I took about an hour to install as I took my time to make sure the installation functioned as designed and it did. I haven't had it in the rain yet to see if any water gets into the bed - also, I'm waiting for the rubber weather seals to conform to their matching surfaces which will take some time. I did add some zip ties to the unlocking cables to enhance cable access and operation.

Product fit my 2018 Silverado perfectly. Easy to install. Not totally water proof vs a high pressure car wash. I was able to install it by myself. I would recommend this product for trucks wanting security in the bed for storage.
