Was very easy to install once I came up with the correct tool combination to pull off the muffler rubbers. As far as the product itself. Bolted right on. I actually completed the install while car was on ground and not elevated so this added to install time. If you had a lift and the tools to take muffler down would easily be under 30 minutes. I would definitely suggest this product. We bought to hold luggage rack so won’t see tons of weight but either way I bet this product could handle it. Much cheaper than buying the roof rack and easier to load and no worries about decreased gas mileage. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hitch for their outlander. Received the receiver very quickly. My friend and I installed the hitch in about 1.5 hours. Would have taken about .5 less time but found there was one nut missing from the package. Very easy to install and great directions. Highly recommended.
