The history of Hellwig Products Co, Inc. began in Kansas City, Kansas in the early forties. With son Donald by his side, Rudolph, " Ruddy" Hellwig, began designing and manufacturing "Helper Springs". The business was moved to Southern California in the mid forties and incorporated in 1946.

By the mid 60's the company's southern California location proved to be to small and Don moved the Manufacturing facility to its current location in Visalia, California. Throughout the years Hellwig products has developed innovative suspension products that help vehicles handle loads and control sway. Products include Anti-Sway bars aftermarket and O.E.M. Also the most popular and imitated load assist products ever introduced to the light truck aftermarket, the "Load Pro 25 Series".

With a third generation of Hellwig, and Don's son Mark directing the business, a whole new series of innovations is being introduced. Included in these innovations is the "Next Generation" of load assist springs the patented "Pro Series" line of springs. Plus, a unique adjustable feature on new Anti-sway bar designs. Now beginning its 60th year Hellwig Products continues to introduce new materials, processes and manufacturing techniques into its product lines.

I have had Helwig sway bars on previous vehicles and the quality this time matched my expectations from the past. The install is relatively quick once the vehicle is up on Jack stands or a lift. 3 bolts per side and it was completed in about 20 min. Test drove it and can already feel more stability in cornering. For a big vehicle like and Expedition any help in the corners is noticed. Round-a-bouts are no longer a challenge. Great product and auto accessories garage kept me updated on my order status up to and including delivery.

I installed the Hellwig 980 on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma to help with slightly sagging springs and to prevent excessive squatting of the rear of my truck when towing my small camper. I installed following the manufacturers instructions, but I also checked the 'before and after' normal ride height of my truck. I gained an inch in the rear and returned the truck back to its original factory height. The stance looks much better, no noticeable change in the ride and best of all, when the truck was loaded with the camper hitched to it, the truck only squatted 3/4 of an inch (it looks level when towing)! Couldn't be happier with the product or the service from AutoAccessoriesGarage. I had been looking for this to go on sale at several different places and stumbled across AutoAccessoriesGarage's regular price that was $10 cheaper than anyone else. Oh, and they beat their own estimated shipping date! They will always be considered on future purchases. Great experience all around!

These sway bars are one of the best upgrade I have done to my pickup. Just bought a 4000lb camper and these bars are a night and day difference. Would 100% recommend this product.

This is the third truck I have installed these on and they work great if you are pushing the weight limits on a regular basis.
