This is a very nice product. I installed it on my 2016 MK 7 VW GTI. This is the second one that I've purchased for this car, and the first one lasted about 3 years, but it was beat up by the end of the 3 years. In about 1.5 yes the grill netting came loose and that caused the lower part below that to sag to the point where I had to cut it off. So on this new one that I installed I placed some Velcro on that lower portion to help secure it in place, and help restrict air flow damage. The wind has a major impact on the front of the car which is why I bought this product. It took me a while to install it because I had to remove the old one, and that involved cleaning, and waxing the front end before installing the new one. It fits beautifully, and looks great.

I already installed one of these on my Honda Element and liked the look so I wanted to replace my current AVS bug shield on my Ranger with something similar. I found this one by LeBra and gave it a try…and happy I did-looks great imho-gives the front end and vinyl stripes some protection and was an inexpensive upgrade for under $50.(may be more $ depends on vehicle). Very easy install-took me about 15mins-clean your hood before install. So far it stays in place, easy to clean with water or mild soapy water. Debris may creep under the lip so check once in a while and wipe out…. So if this is a look you like-go for it and give it a try.
