About ReadyLift

ReadyLift is the latest innovative brand to come from Cordesign, makers of the ReadyRamp truck bed ramp and bed extender. The company is guided by President Cord Bauer, an engineer and weekend warrior in the sport of speed bike racing.

After designing the ReadyRamp himself to aide in loading and unloading his bikes, Bauer used Cordesign to develop ReadyLift as the easy, affordable and durable way to clear larger tires and get an aggressive appearance for your truck. ReadyLift and the rest of Cordesign operate out of their home facility in Costa Mesa, CA.

Install was pretty straight forward. The only issue I had was that the u-bolts were too long for my app. I cut 1 1/2"off with a cut-off saw and was rockin' and rollin'. The only improvement might be to include manufacturer's torque specs. However, they did include generic torque specs. It took me about 8 hours to do the install by myself.

Installed on a 2007 Frontier. First, it was great to do an online chat with someone who actually works AT the store (instead of a call center). When I decided to order, the Sales Rep I spoke with had installed the same kit (different truck). It was refreshing to see people actually use the products they sell. The shipping was extremely fast (drop-shipped from the manufacturer in Nevada). Now for the Kit. All I can say is "Excellent"! It came, packed in fitted foam, with everything including the Cam Bolts. These were necessary or I would have had to buy them before a wheel alignment could be done. The kit came with good instructions, but I found the online video more helpful. It was easy to install with average mechanical experience (and good tools). An Impact Wrench would have been a big help. It took me about 6 hours to install, but I am very methodical, stopped several times to watch the video. The hardest part (for me) was removing the lower strut bolt. It was stuck and I had to finally chisel and drill the nut off. Fortunately I was able to buy two new ones locally. My truck looks great. It lifted the front approximately two inches and the rear about one. It was well worth the money versus buying a cheaper lift kit. I looked at a few others and am very glad I decided to buy the ReadyLift Kit.
