While this certainly helped establish Warn's presence within a specific niche market in the auto industry, the company didn't become a household name until 1959, when the Warn Winch was put on the market.

The Warn Winch - the first recreational winch ever made - was nothing short of revolutionary. Beginning in the 1980s, Warn began to cater to the specific needs of ATV drivers and created their patented ATV winch, an industry first, in 1988. Although the company is 60 years old, Warn Industries continues to innovate. They're all made on-site in the Warn Manufacturing plant in Portland, Oregon.
