You must use these blue support pads with the Griot's random orbital machine to remove wax/sealant. The pads will only last one wax job at best. They are absolutely horrible but Griot's has not seen fit to improve the product. The pad will disintegrate at the bottom near the velcro. But, I have the machine and I must have the pad to use it for wax removal. I've tried to find a suitable replacement but have been unable to do so. So, buy more than one and expect your wax removal expense will be $11 per vehicle as you will have to replace the pad as it fall apart during the job. Note: There are separate pads for wax/polish/sealant. They work well. The blue support pad is for wax removal bonnets primarily.
