So, you've just bolted on a set of those big bad rims that have everyone turning heads. There's just one problem, though - all that extra space between the spokes is showing off your ugly, dusty factory brake calipers. You could drop a small fortune on a set of aftermarket brakes, or make a big mess out of trying to paint your calipers. Your best bet, though, is to drop in some MGP Brake Caliper Covers.

MGP Caliper Covers aren't your average cheapo tape-on plastic covers. They're built from top-shelf 6061-T6 aluminum, with a tough powder-coat finish that withstands all kinds of abuse and comes in a variety of colors. For the most part everything went smooth. Had to cut about 1/4” off of the tabs on the rear caliper covers. Thank goodness they are made out of aluminum and I don’t have to worry about them rusting. They look GREAT!

The covers on the back didn’t fit. I could have drilled a hole in the rear one but they should have fit????????

Product appears nice and nicely made. Made in America is a bonus. The issue was that I could not get the covers to fit my calipers without the clips grinding on the rotors. I adjusted, bent, twisted, stretched, etc... to no avail. Ultimately, I had to return them.

Cheap way to dress up the caliper and add some color. It separates my Jeep from others and my wife likes it.

I’ve had them on for 2 days now. So time will tell as far as durability. Fairly easy installation even though one clip gave me a hard time. Looks great, no change in brake function. Pretty happy with the purchase.

The front covers are a piece of cake to put on. There are two nuts and bolts on each clip which prevents the clip from sliding around as you tighten. The same cant be said for the rear. Only one nut/bolt to hold it in place, and you absolutely will not get it to the instruction specified 25 inch pounds of torque without the clips twisting sideways. A phone call to MGP revealed no answer and a voicemail box that was full. They did have a chat option we found. The chattee said that tightening to 15 inch pounds would be sufficient. 60% of what the instructions say. We had already stripped one of the nuts trying to get it to the specified torque. They are sending replacements though. End story, just hand tight. Forget the instructions torque.
