The plastic hardware included is a JOKE. WeatherTech should be embarrassed to send out cheap plastic hardware with a nice bug deflector. I had to come up with my own screws that were bigger than the hole to get them tight.

I've been driving for the past 50 years. And over those years, I've owned a good variety of vehicles. My current vehicle is a new, 2017 Toyota Tundra. I had recently traded in my previously owned Toyota Tundra. I was a bit disappointed with the plastic connecting "plugs", that attach the stone & bug deflector, beneath to hood of the truck. Neither plug would permit the deflector to sit snuggly to the hood. In fact, I had no sooner attached one side and attempted to attach the other side, only to have the first plug pop out! I had gone to an auto supply store to purchase replacement plugs. I had no problem attaching the first plug. But for some apparent reason, the second plug became difficult to attach the deflector on the opposite side of my hood. So I ended up using a double sided, heavy-duty, tape. One that is similar to the double sided tape that is attached on the bottom - center areas of the deflector. The only other concern that I have is the relatively, "low rise" of the top section of the deflector. It's judge my opinion, but I think the design of the too portion of the deflector should have a higher angle height. I can understand the purpose of aerodynamics with regard to the air flow going over the deflector, hood, windshield and roof of any vehicle. It's just that, by having a slightly higher pitch (say, about an inch or so higher) I sincerely believe it would provide better protection of stones & bugs from hitting the hood of the vehicle. In addition with the pitch being higher, it should provide sufficient angle to deflect stones and bugs above the windshield and roof, as well. Lastly, living in Florida, the home of Love-Bugs, is a disaster when they hit and splatter on a vehicle's painted surface! The acid in these bugs can penetrate the clear coat and painted surface, down to the primary painted surface! Ironically, the bugs acid seems not to affect the plastic deflector surface. So just to reiterate, if the design of the deflector can be slightly re-assigned with a higher elevation across the top area, I believe it would offer better protection to the hood, windshield and roof. In closing, Thank You for taking the time to read my survey opinions! Perhaps a better plug-fastening devices to attach the deflector beneath the hood can be improved? As well as an improvement with regard to the angle of the deflector's top portion. Thank you, again!

No instructions came with the bug deflector. One side is closer than the other which makes it look out of sorts.

The push in fasteners did not fit the holes in my 2017 F150. Seems a lot of folks have this problem with the parts supplied I went to ace hardware and picked up some new plugs and they worked fine. Other than the plugs this shield looks really good on my truck. Nice and solid.

The install instructions showed a way to use the the push pins to mount the deflector that would not work. The pins where to short and made the install very difficult the pins are very cheap not something I expected from weather tech.
