    This mat was purchased to replace my old one(lasted 8 yrs). Previous mat worked great except the edges eventually cracked and broke from occasionally parking on them. Looks great the edging pieces look stronger and higher than previous version. Purchased the heavy duty mat to hold up to studded snow tires mud snow and gravel.

    This worked out well for me, with one exception (later). I needed the mat to park a compact tractor on in the winter. When I use for snow removal and bring it into the garage, the snow would melt and run absolutley everywhere in the garage making the mess unmanageable. I hope this will help contain the water. But they didn't really come in a size I needed, so I bought one that was "close" - the 7.5x14' model. Unfortunately, close wasn't close enough. The mat was about 2' too wide, and 2' too short. But with buying 2 extra side clips I was able to cut and paste to get a mat that's about 5' (+/-) wide, and roughly 16' long...perfect for the tractor with a loader and rear snow blower. The one exception mentioned earlier, I envisioned this as something I would use for about 4 months through the snow season, but the design doesn't seem to lend itself to disassembly very well. I'll know next spring when I try to put it away for the warm months.

    It works! Easy to put together; I was in a cold garage and the tip about using a hair dryer to warm the vinyl before snapping on the edging worked very well.
