The MSD Digital 6-Plus Ignition Control delivers 135 millijoules of spark energy and 535 primary volts using a high-speed RISC microcontroller for precise timing and rpm accuracy. The controller continuously analyzes inputs such as supply voltage and trigger signals to maintain timing accuracy within 1° and rpm limits within 1%.
Features include two adjustable rev limits, start retard, a single-stage nitrous retard, and a 2-step rev limiter. The system accepts points, amplifier, and magnetic pickup inputs and operates on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines.
