The MSD Ultra 6AL Plus Ignition Control Box is a digital capacitive discharge multi spark ignition system that delivers up to 45000 volts with a consistent spark energy of 135mJ to 150mJ from idle to redline. It features a built in tri step RPM rev limiter with launch, burnout, and max race RPM settings that can be adjusted through rotary dials or the MSD Ultra 6AL app, with Bluetooth service available only within the USA and Canada. Programmable step retard includes on ramp time, off delay, off ramp time, and engine RPM activation, along with start retard options of 0, 10, or 20 degrees and a maximum programmable retard of 35 degrees. It supports boost dependent timing control up to 400 kPA through an internal 4 BAR sensor and allows programmable timing curves in 2D plots or 3D tables using a mobile app or MSDView software via the integrated USB port. Designed for 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines, it connects to points, magnetic pickup, and Hall or crank trigger distributors, operates on most 7 to 28 volt systems, and supports high RPM operation up to 15000 RPM with 14.4 volts.
