The windings are encased in a fracture resistant compound for superior vibration resistance, while the Dupont Rynite housing includes an isolated tower and brass primary terminals. With a 70:1 turns ratio and lower primary resistance, this coil produces increased voltage and current and is specifically designed for racing applications when used with an MSD 7 or 8 Series Ignition Control.
