Your Skyjacker Rock Ready Dual Load Ball Joint Kit protects your upper ball joint with a tapered roller bearing which carries both axial and radial loads. A handy Polyurethane wipe seal is internally mounted to prevent tearing, contamination, and friction between the knuckle and joint face. Your Jeep’s lower ball joint is protected with a HEXAD Grease System – a network of six grooves which disperse and distribute grease with every turn.
With this kit in place, your lower ball joint can carry your full weight and road force, with the upper joint acting as a pivot to guide lateral movement. Your undersized plastic OE bearings are completely replaced with 32mm powdered metal bearings, increasing your load carrying capacity.
