    Running boards look really good on the 2012 Ford Escape. Husband is the person who wanted them and is very pleased with them now that they are installed. Husband has poor health and is short in stature. It took us a month to get them installed after receiving them because our friend, the installer, had to wait till after his doctor said he was Ok to resume work after shoulder surgery. Thank you, Wife and chauffeur

    We had the running boards installed at a body shop yesterday. They look great. The body shop professional who installed them made a point of commenting on the quality of the boards and the hardware that came with them. Said they fit the vehicle very well.

    Instructions were easy to follow but it did take quite a bit longer to install...we had a wind come up and take our directions and we were only half done. Called and spoke with Lorice who walked me through how to obtain them on line. She was wonderful!! Two men one 60 and the other 55 did a great install job and are very sore today!!! If it were not for Lorice we would not have finished and the running boards are good in quality and look fantastic and they make the truck look great. One thing, instructions do not tell me where to place the manufacturer's emblem.

    These were done at a professional garage and it took two full hours and occasionally 2 men to drill 6 holes on each side for the brackets and installation. They look great but they are labor intensive and do not use the pried rilles factory holes!

    I think that the owens product that I purchased is and execlent value for the price easy installation the instructions are terrible in order to save time you need to look at utube video it will simlpify instructions

    Overall quality is good. Was not hard to install, however it did take some time due to the number of nuts/bolts that had to be attached. Time will tell on how well they hold up.
