Westin Sure Grip Running Boards

Original choice were on back order and because of my handicap I needed them so these ones were offered for same price. They arrive quicker than expected with all parts in the boxes. The directions were the worst I've ever seen, they were printed too dark and didn't really show or explain much of anything so pretty much useless. They do not fit with out drilling. My boyfriend installed them (he also installed the ones on my last SUV) and was very frustrated, not good. But in the end they are on and look nice on my 2016 Dodge Durango.

As typical with recent orders purchased items arrived timely and in good condition. All parts and hardware were included no missing items etc. Instructions were good, overall a little confusing to me on the rib-veers but just took a few minutes to understand. I worked alone and it took roughly 4 hours total install time for both sides. Quality and appearance all great lower rating on how they hold up because I just installed them no real time to see how they hold up. Would purchase again.

Installation was easy! I think the boards cold be a bit longer also an extra bracket would have been nice! I installed on a 2016 Z71 crew cab I'm 200 lbs. The rear is the issue is the rear bigger span between the bracket. Not a major issue I think it will be okay but just seems springy/spongy. Again not major.

I was looking for a nice accessory for my Explorer. The Westins were my second choice of which I am very pleased with. They look good, not too hard to install and give me the step up I needed.

The overall quality of the running boards was very good except the washers and lockwashers. The smaller lock washers all broke when tightened and thin washers were too soft and easily bent. A higher quality should be used. The directions should be more detailed and explicit.
