The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. With the BakFlip G2 you'll enjoy the security of having a locking trunk for your truck, while still having access to your entire truck bed! The innovative BakFlip G2 folds completely forward and against your truck's rear cab giving you access to all of your truck bed without removing the cover.

The BakFlip is also easily removable. All you have to do is remove 2 wing nuts and since the cover weighs only 40 lbs, it's easy to move yourself! This is my 2nd BAKflip. They are everything I want in a cover. Security, ease of installation and good looks. I am handicapped so it took a little longer to install but still under 3 hours.

Cover looks great, and makes my truck look even better (I wasn't sure that was possible!) :-) I haven't had the chance to see all of the benefits yet, as I just installed it this week, and haven't really driven much, but I love the idea of the bed being more secure.

Well designed accessory for my 2014 Ford F150. Installation was fairly quick. It took about 40 minutes to install. It ships in two packages. One contains the assembled panels for the cover and the other contains the rails. When you go to install the rails, pay close attention to the rubber seal along the side for two things. First the seal has a tendency to want to roll under the rail. Secondly, if you have the factory ind talked bed rail covers (which most trucks do nowadays) the rail will rock either fore or aft slightly depending on which end you start from. To ensure a tight seal, I recommend having a second person hold down the rail as you are clamping it into place. After you have the cover in place on the installed rails, I would also recommend placing the bolts through the cover and rails and snuggling them up. Unfold the cover to ensure the gap is uniform along the side of the cover where it meets the rail. Overall, this is an awesome cover. It is nearly water tight, keeps your gear secure (with a locking tailgate) and allows you to utilize nearly the whole length of your bed (minus the front two inches) when completely unfolded. My father was impressed with it's design and he is now looking to replace his soon with this one. Highly recommend this item to anyone. Also, purchasing this item from autoacessoriesgarage.com saved me well over $100 from other sites, including the manufacturer. If you were wondering on the turnaround time for this item, I received this item about 9 days after I ordered it and was not damaged in shipment.

The cover was fairly simple to install. I did have to notch out drop-in bed liner for perfect fit. I am very pleased with the covers appearance. The only drawback to the simple install is the the simple removal and theft of the cover if tailgate is left unlocked. Perhaps vandal proof bolts such as are used on rims would make theft more difficult. I am pleased with my purchase, the price and the look.
