The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. With the BakFlip G2 you'll enjoy the security of having a locking trunk for your truck, while still having access to your entire truck bed! The innovative BakFlip G2 folds completely forward and against your truck's rear cab giving you access to all of your truck bed without removing the cover.

The BakFlip is also easily removable. All you have to do is remove 2 wing nuts and since the cover weighs only 40 lbs, it's easy to move yourself! Additionally, the BakFlip WILL NOT INTERFERE with stake hole pockets on your truck, working perfectly with tie downs, side rails, overhead truck racks, and headache racks. The bolting hardware needed more quality control. Burrs existed on the brackets for the arms that hold the cover up and the pieces that bolt in for the latch plates the brass pieces were too long for the ram box and made adjusting difficult hence the 2 hour install.

It was fairly easy to install and the low profile gives it a Sleek look but when installing I recommend putting in a the drain before installing the cover.

Everything arrived on time and with no damage, contrary to some other reviews. I had all of the necessary parts in the box and started the install right away. The instructions are absolute crap. They're written for two different types of beds and they don't really differentiate between the two. It took me and my buddy about an hour and fifteen minutes of trial and error to finally get everything in place just right but the end result is great. It looks beautiful, closes and seals tight, and it even has small rings on top so you can still secure light cargo above the bed. It's a nice cover. I'll also add that I haven't had even the slightest increase in MPG in the week or two I've had it. I read a lot of reviews claiming 1-2 mpg increases which is part of the reason I bought it, however I haven't even seen a 0.1 increase. Still looks nice though.
