The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. With the BakFlip G2 you'll enjoy the security of having a locking trunk for your truck, while still having access to your entire truck bed! The innovative BakFlip G2 folds completely forward and against your truck's rear cab giving you access to all of your truck bed without removing the cover.
The BakFlip is also easily removable. All you have to do is remove 2 wing nuts and since the cover weighs only 40 lbs, it's easy to move yourself! Additionally, the BakFlip WILL NOT INTERFERE with stake hole pockets on your truck, working perfectly with tie downs, side rails, overhead truck racks, and headache racks. The BAK BakFlip is also 100% weatherproof, unaffected by rain and snow. It also does not shrink or expand when the temperature shifts. I installed the cover myself with some help from my daughter. Installation was fairly easy and didn't take too long. That night it rained and when I checked first thing in the morning, the cover had leaked. The main leaks were at the front corners where the sides of the bed meet the bulkhead. The whole front of my bed was soaked. There was 2 smaller leaks coming from the side rails about halfway down the sides of the bed. After talking to BakFlip, they suggested that I silicone everything. They proposed that I disassemble everything to include taking off the side rails. They want me to run silicone along the entire length of the side rails and then replace them. When asked if they could send a representative out to my home they pretty much steered away from that. I have to say I love the way the cover looks but I'm very disappointed not only that it leaks, but with the response I got from BakFlip. I'll do what they say and see what happens.

First, I can't say enough about the folks at autocacessoriesgarage. They were outstanding with response times to every question. Tracking the cover via their link to the shipper was seamless. These folks set and maintain a very high standard for service, love it! I have only had the G2 installed for about a week. Straightforward installation, just watch the videos and you can't go wrong. I really like the look of the flush-mount finish of the G2. Yesterday I washed the truck and with the cover closed, the bed stayed dry. Looks to be a very high-quality, sweet-looking tonneau cover, I hope the rubber gaskets, which are pretty thick, will hold their pliability in the S. Florida sun.

The BakFlip was delivered in very protective packaging and was not damaged in any way. The BakFlip installed quickly and the instructions were straight forward. The cover it's self looks great, I love the low profile look and it was rained on within the first three days after install with no drips or leaks into the bed of my truck.
