I viewed the Video that you can find on Google and used it and the instructions that come with the unit. It went together with no backups. I love it. Just the addition mileage you get will pay for it in 2 years or less. Before you would have to leave the tailgate open to reduce the wind resistant to improve your miles per gallon.

I really like the updates done to the cover. Being able to close the tailgate without touching the cover is really convenient. The new hooks at the bulkhead will come in handy.

The first cover I received had shipping damage (bent side rail, small dents in one panel) as well as a small cut in one of the cover gaskets that was likely missed by QC. BAK replaced the whole cover and the second one was received in near perfect condition (just one small dent in one of the side rails that doesn't affect the cover and is not visible when the cover is closed). The cover went on without any issues. The instructions are clear enough but be sure to put the cab/bulkhead seal at the back edge not towards the cab. Also, the angle shims (2019 Chevy Colorado) need to be put between the metal bed rail and the plastic fascia, not between the fascia and BAK's side rail like the shimming sheet suggests. Lastly, when installing the star knobs and bolts you need to drill a hole in the foam gaskets on the bottom side of the panel. It took a little fussing to get the cover perfectly square but once it's installed it operates easily and looks great. I just installed it today so can't say how water proof it is but the gaskets look like they will do a fair job of keeping water out.

Good fit on my 2016 long-bed Chevy Colorado Z71. Good quality materials and manufacturing. Functional design, security, and easy operations. Total bed access when fully folded. Does a good job keeping the water out of the bed. Oh yeah, looks great!
