Once I understood what I was seeing, it was a bit hard at first understanding the directions. I over came that and installed cover ps in my order I didn’t receive shims and tried to contact the company through the website never received a reply back, so I hope I do not lose warranty for not using proper shams.

I have a Chevy Colorado 2021, I ordered the MX4 Bakflip for the 5' bed. First issue was that the instructions did not say to put shims under the side rails to get them straightened up if the sides of the bed are angles a bit. This advice was on a separate piece of paper and I did not see until I was done. So that was kind of my fault. Second issue was when I put the weather strip sealing foam on the rear of the bed, it was not tall enough to make a seal against the bed cover. It seamed like the side rails of the truck stuck up too high and there was a gap between the sealing strip and the cover. So I went and bough some more weather stripping, glued the two weather strips together, and stuck it back down. This time it sealed as it was double the height. Third issue was when I adjusted the bed cover so it sealed on the tailgate, it barely covered the weather stripping on the rear. I stuck it down as close as I could to the rear (but not so much that it was falling off the rounded edge of the bed). I made it work, but the cover could have been about .5" longer to make a much better seal. Overall review it that the quality seems OK, it looks very sharp, and being able to shut the bed cover or tailgate first without messing up the seal is awesome. But the negatives are that it will not be as easy as they make it look in the videos. It will take a bit of thinking and problem solving. Also it has not rained since I put it on, so I cannot review how water proof it is, but judging by the sealing in the corners, there will be water getting in.

The installation was not that difficult but the instructions should be modified to include better detail for several of the items. I had to waste some time trying to figure out how to install some items. Also, the weather seal, for the cab/bulkhead, should be wider since the rubber edge of the last panel barely contacts it. As far as performance is concerned, it is too soon to tell since it has been on my truck for only a few days.
