Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Covers

I had a solid lid type on my prior F-150 Super Crew and didn't like raising the whole lid to put a lawn mower in the back, driving with lid up. The Extang Solid Fold is the perfect solution. The materials and design are excellent. Installation took me about 20 minutes including unpacking. The directions are simple and the weather seals fit great along our new F-150 Super Crew 5.5-foot bed. Had to shave about 1/8" of the top plastic box protectors on the truck so the Extang clamps come into contact with the metal portion of the truck box. If I didn't shave the plastic 1/8", the clamps tried to push up to top plastic box protectors and probably not seal good. Highly recommend this Tonneau cover.

Fast shipping. 6 days after order including a weekend. Very well packed with roll batting styrofoam on both sides and large rolls around the edges...zero damage or dings. Included instructions are well illustrated, clear & complete, making installation painless and foolproof. The only thing that required any time was in cutting a clearance notch in the plastic bed cap edge for the 4 hold down clamps. I further installed the Extang Maxseal Tailgate Seal' to help assure a weather tight cargo box. I highly recommend this product. Customer service at Auto Accessories Garage was outstanding. My questions were fully answered and my order was placed with no sales pressure nor rush to get off the phone. I would do business with AAG again.

Great product and it is easy to install, lift and remove when needed.

Installation was easy - the hardest part was lining it up to cover all the stake pockets! The only negative I noticed is that it's not quite waterproof. A little water drips in at the rear pivot.

This is the 2nd one I have owned that is an Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover. My 1st one was on a 2007 truck and was still performing great when I sold the truck. The new one is expected to be great also.

Dodge Ram 1500 (2011). Excellent cover. Covers the cargo holes in the top of the bed rail. The plastic rail protectors that are standard on the truck keep from tight fit on front corners. Used spongey weather stripping, now tight seal. Excellent cover. This is my second one of these on my second truck. Took longer to unpack than to install.

2013 GMC2500HD Extang Solid fold: Living in Michigan the cover turned on within 2 days so fast service for drop ship operation. However, Extang shipped the wrong one. Working with the folk's at Auto Accessories Garage to correct the issue was painless and they were very helpful and showed concern. The top fit very well and was easy to install it cover the stake holes very well contrary to someones compliant that it did not. It feels solid clamps work well and the cover does not move around like some others have suggested. Yes I would recommend it to others. however, I was disappointed in the quality of the sealing and plan to take the compliant up with Extang. Not what I expect from a Michigan based company. Even their name plate was miss installed. I put down to sloppy process control and or labor.

Product has adequate design but I would like to see clamps added to the center section for improved security at highway speeds. Packaging is in dire need of improvement. The first cover that I received was bent beyond use. The replacement cover is dented and will be returned for replacement
