Difficult to install. In a kit costing more than $400 is it too much to ask for a couple of plates and a bolt to hold the centerpiece in place while fastening? Curt actually sells a holder for that purpose, SEPARATELY. You might want to buy that, because you'll need something to hold it up while you bolt it in place. These are heavy pieces of steel that are difficult to align, so self centering, or easy-start bolts should have been used. The included bolts are difficult to start, and easy to cross-thread. Also, my instructions called for installing more of the long bolts than the two included in my kit. They weren't needed, but the instructions were sub-par. And that leads to my big complaint. After a day of wrestling around on the ground, under a pickup, working on this thing, the instructions essentially say take it all apart and start over. Because at that point you're supposed to drop some bolts down through a frame cross member. The problem with that being it's covered by the hitch frame you've spent all day installing. I ended up cutting a hole in the cross member and doing my best Houdini impression to get carriage bolts through chrome blocks and down through holes in the frame. So drop those bolts through the frame before it gets covered up. And after measuring the placement of the hole in the bed, and getting the hitch lined up perfectly, the brace that gets installed near the end of the process pushed the whole hitch forward about a quarter of an inch.

Great Product. Easy to install. Works well and towed trailers true. Only issue was one side frame ubolt broke under torque. No big deal just replaced it.

There were 2 (ea) missing washers and the optional bracket for avoiding brake line damage was too soft and bent when tightening. Installation took 3.5 hours based on inner fender well plastic removal and challenge in aligning bracket aft bolt hole to frame hole...had to grind frame hole.
